Local and international researchers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are testing an experimental pill that could help contain the Ebola outbreak.
More than 4,000 people have died from the virus, and over 8,000 have been infected.
With no approved vaccine against the Bundibugyo strain, researchers hope the drug can protect people who have already been exposed before they fall ill.
Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reports.
