Mohamed Bakkali, convicted for coordinating logistics for the 2015 Paris attacks, could be granted parole in Belgium despite receiving a 30-year sentence in France with a 20-year minimum term. Belgian authorities will decide on September 29 whether to release him under electronic monitoring, a prospect that has sparked anger among victims and families, while prosecutors oppose his release.
