Videos of women being strangled with choke chains are circulating on social media, Sky News can reveal.
Disturbing clips show women wearing these chains as necklaces and being pulled around, with captions poking fun at not being able to breathe.
Sky’s Phoebe Southworth speaks to a legal expert who says it’s “patriarchy for profit” and the “commercialisation of misogyny”, to young people who say strangulation is being normalised, and to a strangulation survivor who says these videos glamourise violence.
