Anti-government protests in Albania’s capital Tirana turned violent for a second consecutive night on Wednesday, leaving several government buildings damaged and at least one ablaze. Thousands demanded Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation and improved university conditions. Police fired tear gas and deployed water cannons as protesters smashed windows and attacked buildings.
