Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has spoken of the challenging year the country has faced because of the war with Iran.
Speaking at the opening of the legislative body, known as the Shura Council, he outlined how Qatar would continue to play a central role in regional mediation. But he also spoke of the economic challenges facing the country as a result of reduced revenues.
